Window cleaning can be a difficult task. They never get clean no matter what someone does to try to get them clean. There will always be streaks and marks that can be difficult to remove without the right equipment and the proper technique. There truly are window cleaning secrets of the trade.

Using a squeegee and a scrubber is the best way to start the task of cleaning a window. The longer the squeegee is the better because that will avoid streaking. It is also a good idea to have some soap and also a good cloth or paper towels that will not break away on the window.

Covering the window with a heavy mist of window cleaner is the right way to begin cleaning. Spraying window cleaner onto a rag is not necessary and is just not a proper use of time. The sponge could be used as a scrubber, or the paper towels could be used as well. Removing all the fingerprints is the next important step and this is done by using a scrubber on the windows.

Working with the squeegee is what is done next. It is best to start close to the edge and work down to avoid making streaks and lines. A large squeegee is much better than a smaller one because it will be able to get most of the window in one swipe without leaving marks or streaks. Not leaving lines is one of the not so secret window cleaning secrets of the trade.

Using a paper towel to wipe off the the squeegee after each swipe will help to decrease streaking. Wiping off the edges with a paper towel is smart so there will not be lines and streaks down the edge of the window. The window will sparkle in the sunlight all the more.

Using cloudy and dreary days to clean windows is what the experts would say. The point of this is that sunlight often makes marks and imperfections more visible than they would be otherwise. Sunlight on a day without humidity would also make the windows dry quicker and increase the streaking.

The task of cleaning windows can be a hard one if someone is not experienced in this area. Someone really feels like there are window cleaning secrets. It does seem like sometimes it is impossible to get a streak free shine. If someone will take his or her time and use the proper equipment, then there is no way the windows can be sparkling clean.
